Tough day (week) it is! School’s stacked assignments are what you don’t want to see (and to do) but then you must (I manage though even if today is the deadline lol). I have just been busy these few days as it is for school stuff and some real important activity and so on.
Anyway, today is the last school day for this week (rest time *sigh*) and time for me to vote for Goodreads Choice Awards 2016. This is my first time to vote (from the first round to the last) since I don’t usually stay tuned in the Goodreads activities or updates from the last time – way back one year ago. It is what I can say a good time to vote for my favorite or sometimes recommendations or just roaming around in my social media feeds and just hooks you up to it.
I am voting today for the final round which is obviously the last to crown the best in each category. There are 20 categories to be exact and which to have unique set of books that will be the option for you to choose (at first glance I was in shocked because I can’t really choose either from each book, it was just those are really hard to pick – wish I can choose three out of them).
Are you ready to see my choices?
Then here they are:
Best Fantasy – Harry Potter and the Cursed Child – Parts One and Two by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne, John Tiffany
Best Nonfiction – The View from the Cheap Seats: Selected Nonfiction by Neil Gaiman
Best Memoir & Autobiography – Hungry Heart: Adventures in Life, Love, and Writing by Jennifer Weiner
Best History & Biography – The Midnight Assassin: Panic, Scandal, and the Hunt for America’s First Serial Killer by Skip Hollandsworth
Best Food & Cookbooks – Layered: Baking, Building, and Styling Spectacular Cakes by Tessa Huff
Best Debut Goodreads Author – The Serpent King by Jeff Zentner
Best Young Adult Fantasy & Science Fiction – Heartless by Marissa Meyer
Best Middle Grade & Children’s – The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan
So that’s how I choose among the all the nominated and it really tires me. But worth it.
The final round will end on November 28 – what are you waiting for, vote now! The task is quite fun and hard if you are in both situations you both love two books in one category. Same here. Although not all from the above choice of mine are really my idea, I ask my fellow book buddies who want they prefer then I choose on behalf of them. And well, my casting of who will be the best is now finished. I hope you do yours and share it with your fellow reader, sure they gonna love that!

Right now, time to knock off some reading!
Grand day to all of you.
